Smoky Tomato Barbecue Sauce
Ingredients
  • 1 18- ounce can tomato sauce
  • 1 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup spicy honey mustard
  • 1/4 cup hickory smoked Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar packed
  • 2 tablespoons hot pepper sauce
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon seasoned sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
  1. Combine all ingredients in a heavy bottomed saucepan. Bring to a boil, and then reduce to a simmer.
  2. Simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Use for brushing on meats or for table side use.
  4. Keeps in refrigerator for 2 weeks.
