Southern Sop Sauce

This mop sauce has cider vinegar as a base. Recipe adapted from The Little Smoker Book.

Southern Sop
Ingredients
  • 2 cups cider vinegar
  • 1 cup water
  • 3 tablespoons freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons salt
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
Instructions
  1. Mix all the ingredients together in a small saucepan, and heat until warmed. Brush on while the sop sauce is still warm.
